I've been feeling UBER sluggish lately. Hence the lack of new posts.

I can't believe it's been nearly a week since I haven't even stepped out of the house! I mean, not even my terrace! I've been boarding up the windows with cushions.

I've decided something.

IF, and that's a really really big and hopeful if, 2012 never happens and we all make it out alive *BOO*, then I shall go TRAVELLING. Right after I finish grad from uni, it's bye-bye my world and hello THE world. But I guess it'll hafta be backpacker style, eh? Ah well.

I know people generally don't go off galivanting right after they finish school but I'm not 'people'. I'm person. And this person wants to vamoose off to a different city every night. So I SHALL. And that's that. Nobody try to talk me out of it.

What's the point of memorizing whole textbooks when half of the content is completely unapplicable to anything even remotely related to that little thing we humans like to call 'life'?

The education system needs some major revamping.

Karl Marx was right about one thing.

"Pure communism" talks about how before one can move on to the higher qualities of life such as art, music and other leisure interests, one must attain the lower qualities of life- food, shelter etc.

But when a high percentage of the population is steeped in poverty, can there really be any universal standard of progress?
